We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.” Marina Richter’s quote resonates deeply with Karen. Since childhood, Karen has always been curious and possessed an earnest desire to travel to new and exciting places.

Have you heard of the expression,” If I haven’t been there, then I want to go” ? Well, she cannot agree more! Karen is always checking destinations off her list and anticipating a new journey. It is through traveling that one’s heart and mind are broadened and we are able to return home, sharing our meaningful experiences, and all that we have learned.

A native of Southwest Virginia, but as a military wife and former educator, Karen spent most of her adulthood traveling between duty stations in Florida. She has two adult children and is now a resident of Franklin, Tennessee. Karen serves as a Volunteer Coordinator for the Lions Club, and of course she travels.

Karen loves cruising, staying at all-inclusive resorts and taking road trips.

When she is not traveling, she is busy planning travel for clients, family and friends; often developing fun and adventurous itineraries for their trips.
